Immage Acquisition
The images to be elaborated must be captured beforehand with a
scanner and saved in a directory created specifically for the purpose. The name given to
an image must not exceed 50 characters (including spaces path and extension), given that
longer names could provoke errors.
Alternatively, images can be manipulated by superimposing the x-ray
on the screen that would then act as a negatoscope.
It will be widely found that the best solution will be to capture an
18-20 cm square on the x-ray with the scanner set at a resolution of 75 dpi, then save the
images as bitmaps or JPGs. It is advisable to carry out some trials first in order
to adapt results to the hardware currently being used, in order to set up an operating
standard that will not require any further modification.
